This upcoming July 30th we will host an special and private edition created for the BMW Foundation members, where you will have the opportunity to connect with the stories of other 4 RLs of LATAM.

They will share -in a short 7 minutes presentation- that one tip, tool, idea, reading, tagline or learning (any hack) that helped them be where they are!

Pablo Sepúlveda

Social entrepreneur, lawyer, 18 years experience. I dedicated a lot of my professional career to promote and develop housing solutions for poor people in Chile. Co-founder of Urbanismo Social NGO. Co-founder and ex-owner of Museo Advertising Agency. In 2011 I knew B Corps and purpose-driven companies and I created Birus to spread them around the world. Social entrepreneurship and purpose speaker. Member of Responsible Leaders BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and Agora Partnertships entrepreneurs. Nowadays impact manager in Sudamerik Impact Investment Funds.

Sylvia Guimarães

Born in Sao Paulo, Brasil, the historian and educator Sylvia Guimaraes, 39, has been head of Vaga Lume Association since the beginning in 2001. Upon graduating from the University of São Paulo, Sylvia and two other friends founded Vaga Lume Association and set off with a lofty goal: to build 26 libraries in 26 different communities in the Amazon Rain Forrest. In a trip that took almost 2 years, Vaga Lume transferred knowledge by training literacy coaches and reading mediators as well as physically creating the space and bringing a curated selection of books and activities. In most of these initial communities contemplated, Vaga Lume brought the only libraries for miles.

Carmen Artigas

Carmen specializes in integrating ethical practices within the fashion industry. With over 20 years of design experience working with brands from high-end to mass-market such as Donna Karan, Swatch, Kate Spade, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart, Carmen has become an expert at anticipating challenges in the marketplace. Currently, she advises start-ups, established brands and trade organizations interested in improving their sourcing, manufacturing and labor practices. Her goal is to help build resilient businesses, while minimizing their human and environmental impact.

Itamar Lilienthal

Itamar Lilienthal (Ita) is an artist based between San Diego, United States and Tijuana, Mexico. He is the founder of the circular design and research house, “Casa Tamarindo”. Through Casa Tamarindo, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from film, furniture, fashion, and art. What all the projects have in common is that they focus on creating bridges between art, crafts and sustainability. For more information visit www.tamarindo.house.
